Sparky Posted June 15, 2009 Author Posted June 15, 2009 Yes Sparky... its (269) 385-5721 according to the Yellow pages. Are you such a retard that you can't look it up yourself?
Sparky Posted June 15, 2009 Author Posted June 15, 2009 Hey... thats not very nice. ... and you're a doo doo head. Thats right... I said it.
gopeteygo Posted June 15, 2009 Posted June 15, 2009 Hey, that guy needs a good talking to by the mod squad.
Thundersteel Posted June 15, 2009 Posted June 15, 2009 I tend to talk to myself alot, because no one else is listening anyway!
Sparky Posted June 15, 2009 Author Posted June 15, 2009 Did I...miss something...? Not really... just a couple of the people in my head having a not-so-friendly conversation. So... I had my H170 for sale on e-bay, and about three days into it I noticed the neck pick-up ring had a perfect vertical split in it. From a playing distance, it just looked like one of the strings. I had 280 views and about 15 people watching the auction. I called Heritage to buy a replacement ring. Bill answered the phone. I told him what I needed, and he took my shipping info and told me he'd have it sent out. I told him I wanted to pay for it. He told me if there was an invoice in the package that I should pay that. Since he was being so nice, I certainly wasn't going to press him to ship it next day or anything... so I ended up canceling the sale on ebay. I didn't want to discount the guitar for a $10 part. One of these days I bet I'll actually sell it. I can't play it anymore, as I had it set up for proper left-handed use, and I'm a lefty strung righty guy. Maybe I'm a retard after all. NO I'M NOT!

Not to mention the always fun to visit Starving Musician. Starving got to be too full of (real) junk and anklebiters. but Guitar Showcase keeps getting better... did you ever get that pickup ring? Heritage website: where you can get the shop's GPS coordinates off the site's homepage but no phone number anywhere...

Heritage website: where you can get the shop's GPS coordinates off the site's homepage but no phone number anywhere... Yep... I remember Starving always had some funky-ass equipment, but I could grab a burger at BK and go into Starving and noodle on some POS Dean or whatever till I had to go back to work. Here's a partial list of the things I've bought from Guitar Showcase: Mesa Boogie 50/50 Mesa Boogie 1x12 cabinets (2) Mesa Boogie Triaxis Pre-amp 1990 Fender Strat 1996 Fender Mustang 1996 Fender Jagstang Ibanez AEG10 As for the pick-up ring, Bill Paige at the Heritage factory said he's sending me one. I really miss the South Bay... once I'm out of prison I'll be heading back there.

rjsanders Posted June 16, 2009 Posted June 16, 2009 Yep... I remember Starving always had some funky-ass equipment, but I could grab a burger at BK and go into Starvingand noodle on some POS Dean or whatever till I had to go back to work. i was interested in a BF Bandmaster head. it looked sad, but i had hopes. they asked $400 or so (this is a few years ago, too). so, i gulped & said ok let's fire 'er up...<insert sparks and smokeage>...the guy looks a little sheepish - and *still* insists on $400 w/o a fix. i've only gone back for 2-for-1 strings and such since, since i live nearby. Here's a partial list of the things I've bought from Guitar Showcase: Mesa Boogie 50/50 ... yeah, i've gotten stuff there in every decade since 1970...decent prices, knowledgeable staff, and then there's the showcase stuff behind glass that i love to fog up... As for the pick-up ring, Bill Paige at the Heritage factory said he's sending me one. I really miss the South Bay...once I'm out of prison I'll be heading back there. i guess Bill decided to stick around after the re-org, huh? good guy. authenticated my Millie DC as the first-of-kind and NAMM guitar. if you see my brother around the Yard, leave 'im be - he's the phone guy

peterbright Posted June 16, 2009 Posted June 16, 2009 Phone numbers or rather lack thereof on web pages...one of my favorite subjects. I've invented new words to describe my feelings. No, you can't read or hear them.
