tulk1
From the NetSol holding page being displayed it probably means they didn't pay to renew the domain name. Would not be surprised at all if that is the case. The problem arises is if someone jumps in and grabs that domain before they renew. Then again, unfortunately having intimate knowledge of how NetSol works, it could just be a server issue.
Dick Seacup
The registration actually expired on 10 JUN 09. Network Solutions typically offers a 35-day grace period, past expiry, for registrants to renew.
barrymclark
Geez. Heritage know that the site expired?

Jim W
I wonder what the renewal fee is.
chico
I wonder what the renewal fee is. If you get your domain through godaddy.com, its about 9.99 a year. Better to buy & pay for 3 years at a time-the price break is worth it. I would not "fret" it that the Heritage site is down---they've got finished guitars to set up and ship out, besides-they have US! Ren or Vince will get to it.. tulk1
The real problem here is that the domain name becomes available for others to buy. Especially if the NetSol grace period is over.
rjsanders
now's a good time to revamp the website. or at least put the phone number on the home page... :sunny"

With 30 days left on their grace period, I'm sure they're in little danger (yet) of losing it. OTOH, maybe they've decided that the web site just isn't a priority. :D
golferwave
Or maybe they have a brand new web site ready to launch! It will be called allhocmembersgetafreeguitar.com - yeh that's the ticket!
Dick Seacup
Or maybe they have a brand new web site ready to launch! It will be called allhocmembersgetafreeguitar.com - yeh that's the ticket! Hey, there's an idea! Buy a $2000 membership in the HOC and get a free guitar! That's almost a better deal than Buy a Heritage guitar and get a free membership in the HOC! barrymclark
You know.... that 'paid' level of membership wouldn't be a bad idea! If there was a model(s) exclusively for the HOC.... A couple of grand and you support the site, get the exlusive model or model with exclusive trim. Geez.... I'd save up for that. Say there are a number of models that Heritage would be willing to sell to the HOC at a certain price point with some special inlay and dressing that is ONLY for the HOC. A 137DC with a certain inlay package and markings that denote the HOC. Or... any model that fits below the price point where this site gets support and Heritage gets a sale. Heritage won't lose a dime as they'd be made to order. I can see the 137 model fitting under 2k well. That is about the only one though. To get other models, the level would, of course, have to go up. Who knows, maybe there is something this site and Heritage can work out. That's a heck of an idea, Dick Seacup! I am slowly saving for another Heritage (a baby does slow down the saving process) but if I had an option that wouldn't mean much more money and it would support both this site and Heritage.... count me in. To maintain exclusivity, all orders would have to be done through this site.
