Stanny Posted June 26, 2009 Posted June 26, 2009 Hey to all my fellow H.O.C. members! So I was at the factory this morning and I got a chance to see pictures of the H-357 ("Firebird") that was made for Frankie Ballard. To my knowledge, this guitar was last seen in the 1989 catalog (which I was lucky enough to get my hands on a copy of one). I was never a big fan of Gibson's Firebird, but Heritage's take on the instrument really did grab my attention. In fact, the other guitarist and lead singer in my band, "For All We Know", reaaalllllyyyy wants to get his hands on one. So, I'm wondering if anyone else feels the same way about this discontinued solid body. I'd sure like to see it back in production....anybody feel like jumping on the bandwagon with me? ~Ryan "Stanny" Stanford
cod65 Posted June 26, 2009 Posted June 26, 2009 do a search on the HOC under this topic. you are hardly alone. I wonder if they ever made a lefty
High Flying Bird Posted June 26, 2009 Posted June 26, 2009 I would like one but I would have to get it refinished in something besides the solid color. I had an old non-reverse Firebird as a kid but let it slip away. I don't even have any pictures of it.
SouthpawGuy Posted June 26, 2009 Posted June 26, 2009 Recently uploaded to the HOC gallery, Jay Wolfes 357 ... The only thing for me would be humbuckers or mini - hums.
brentrocks Posted June 26, 2009 Posted June 26, 2009 i would love to see the 357 back in production too, but G might have something to say about it
golferwave Posted June 26, 2009 Posted June 26, 2009 Maybe they would do a limited run for the HOC if enough folks would commit to buy one. Check with Vince at PSPII
SouthpawGuy Posted June 26, 2009 Posted June 26, 2009 Maybe they would do a limited run for the HOC if enough folks would commit to buy one. Check with Vince at PSPII +1 on that suggestion. If they are producing them for one of their artists well who knows ?
