Paul P Posted July 5, 2009 Posted July 5, 2009 Nice photos. I especially liked (apart from your cute daughter that is) this one : Looks like a working man's guitar.
brentrocks Posted July 5, 2009 Author Posted July 5, 2009 please excuse the title....not really family friendly, sorry
Thundersteel Posted July 5, 2009 Posted July 5, 2009 Nice! Your daughter will be big before you know it!
ronalr Posted July 6, 2009 Posted July 6, 2009 Great collection...and really great pictures.....thanks for sharing. Are you going to teach your daughter?....I have a PRS Mira waiting for my granddaughter to get old enough to learn...her name is Miranda....it was a great excuse to buy a guitar..I told my wife the guitar was named after our granddaughter
Paul P Posted July 6, 2009 Posted July 6, 2009 Great collection...and really great pictures.....thanks for sharing. Are you going to teach your daughter?....I have a PRS Mira waiting for my granddaughter to get old enough to learn You might want to get her something smaller in the meantime. A great guitar for kids is the now defunct Fender MIM Strat Jr. Same as the regular only smaller. I got one of the last ones for my daughter a few years ago. She's since given it up and I inherited a great travel guitar.
brentrocks Posted July 6, 2009 Author Posted July 6, 2009 Great collection...and really great pictures.....thanks for sharing. Are you going to teach your daughter? Thanks Ron if she wants to learn later on, though i am hardly good enough to teach...maybe teach her the bacis chords, and maybe how to play Smoke on the Water
ronalr Posted July 6, 2009 Posted July 6, 2009 Smoke on the Water......That's funny....yeah my granddaughter is just turning 2...so it will be a while...here she is with her first Martin..... and then the PRS ... (if she's a lefty.. then it will stay mine ) and trying to pick out the 535
yoslate Posted July 6, 2009 Posted July 6, 2009 Love the black and white, Brent! Nice shots. And I sure would like a spank of the Blueburst this year! Missed out on that, last PSP! What a nice looking instrument! And, as I recall, just really great tone!
Gitfiddler Posted July 6, 2009 Posted July 6, 2009 Ronair~ Great shots of your grand daughter. What kind of multi-guitar rack is that?? I need one badly. My wife is starting to complain about her wrinkled dresses that are smashed by guitar cases.

Thanks....I got that here ...... http://guitarstorage.com/index.htm great people to buy from...good quality and easy to put together...I have another one on the other side of the room......really does make the room look nicer than all those cases piled up everywhere.
High Flying Bird Posted July 7, 2009 Posted July 7, 2009 Brent, the first photo has a depth to it that I really like. It looks like you could reach into the monitor and touch the head stock. Killer!
DCA Posted July 8, 2009 Posted July 8, 2009 Lovely photographs and guitars. I really like the gold top, your mind knows it's a gold top so the photo takes on a slightly sepia hue. Fun. Excellent idea about using B&W to emphasize the flame in your finishes. I'll have to give that a shake. Thanks for the inspiration
Scooter Posted July 8, 2009 Posted July 8, 2009 Brent, you have a fantastic guitar collection . All beauties. Nice photos, too. Ronair, I'm with Gitfiddler in regards to that guitar rack. What a cool idea. Something to consider.
wingnut1 Posted July 12, 2009 Posted July 12, 2009 Nice guitars and cute kids, I would just caution against putting pictures of children in threads that have Porn in the title. I'd hate to see one of our members become an example for an over zealous prosecutor.

ledzef Posted July 12, 2009 Posted July 12, 2009 That is a serious collection. Just wondering could anymore of your guitars have nicer flames?
