That has got to be one of the MEANEST looking 150's I've seen yet. I love the black stain with the natural mahogony back. The pickups look really cool too!

Sweet axe dude, sweet.

Very cool looking 150 indeed. Which p/up model are they? The sound files all sound great. Very acka dacka.

Those p/ups look cool as well. Any chance of a closer look at the p/ups. They got a Gretsch look about them.

As far as I know, Haeussel's are hard to get in the states (and in other countries, too).

The Haeussel's are really great pups. IMHO opinion not 100 % as good as the Amber PAF 59. But if you compare the prices (Haeussel PAF Set 309 EUR to Amber 59 PAFs approx. 500 EUR) it's just a question of how many money do you wish to spent for pickups.

I'm very sure that, no matter if you use Haeussl's or Amber's, both of them will defenitely make an upgrade to every stock pickup.

i agree about the quality of amber 59 pafs.

have you ever heard the haeussel 59?

sounds really great and as you said, the ambers

are ridiculous pricey.

convert it to USD some guys would laugh loud in this forum.

nevertheless both are nothing for me, i need more "beef".

for expl. my bridge pup reads 18.6 kOhms ;o)

that is a kick ass 150 right there!!!!

Hi to Bayern ,

yes I've heard the Haeussel 59 and it's a really great pickup. I fully agree to you about the pricing of Amber pups.

Well, 18,6 Ohm, that's really beefy. I asume you play the heavy stuff, right ?!

btw: I have Suhr pickups in my new Realguitars Strat (F/L singele coils and SSV Humbucker for the bridge. To me the SSV has not enough output for a brdge pickup. Any suggestion from your side ? SSV + our Aldrich ? I need it more or less for heavy blues rock.

Cheers

many thx for that compliment!

you are right it was lucky to get.

it was a custom order from the most hated guitar dealer in las vegas.

but i can't tell anything bad.

i bought it second hand from a guy i new york city and it made first a travel

to tacoma and then finally to me.

through this really cool deal i found friends meanwhile - as what guitars are good for.

here another foto where you can see the exact spacing from the pups.

it is 52,5mm at the bridge and 49mm at the neck.
