squawken Posted January 26, 2008 Posted January 26, 2008 I got this 140 on Thursday. Man is it gritty! It is an 88. I'm very curious as to what pups are in it. I have to wait till the strings get old. It's a little beat up, but extremely playable, and I got it real cheap. Now I can boast that I own multiple Heritages! I hope the pictures come through. dblazer Posted January 26, 2008 Posted January 26, 2008 I think the early ones had the Schaller "Golden 50s" pickups. Mine is from 1995 and has the Seymour Duncan/Seth Lover 55 P.A.F.s.
squawken Posted January 27, 2008 Author Posted January 27, 2008 Very nice!! They make a cute couple. Thanks Tulk. Look! I finally figured out how to post pictures. If you go over to BAM I have my "new" 91 CE24. My name on that one is sawken.
Thundersteel Posted January 27, 2008 Posted January 27, 2008 Nice axes! I bet they sound good through that JVM410!
squawken Posted January 27, 2008 Author Posted January 27, 2008 Nice axes! I bet they sound good through that JVM410! Thanks Thundersteel! They certainly do! I can't get over how grungy the 140 sounds on it. It can certainly give an old "Kiss" sound, and some gritty 80's stuff. A lot of fun!
Gitfiddler Posted January 27, 2008 Posted January 27, 2008 Dynamic Duo in front of two really scary looking Marshalls!! Congratulations on the new score, Squawken.
