SouthpawGuy Posted August 2, 2009 Posted August 2, 2009 Hi I have an H 140 with serial starting with W (2006) - can you tell me what pickups will be in it? Thanks Hi Cary, The pickup type and model is often written on the guitars label which is on the underside of the control cavity cover. Here's one from the Gallery 59's indicates Duncan 59s' Usually 4 height adjustment screws per pickup indicates Schaller pickups, 2 per pickup often indicates Duncans, often 59's or Seth Lovers. Hope this helps
Cary Posted August 3, 2009 Author Posted August 3, 2009 Thanks for that it reads as either U5B or V5B HRW PU know which it would be?? Cary
Dick Seacup Posted August 3, 2009 Posted August 3, 2009 Cary-probably VSB...vintage sunburst. HRW means it has HRW (Heritage Rendall Wall) pickups.
brentrocks Posted August 3, 2009 Posted August 3, 2009 sounds like a nice one....welcome to the club!!!
tulk1 Posted August 3, 2009 Posted August 3, 2009 Cary-probably VSB...vintage sunburst. HRW means it has HRW (Heritage Rendall Wall) pickups. Which would make that a very special H140, indeed! Need pics.
Cary Posted August 3, 2009 Author Posted August 3, 2009 Hi - no proper camera, but can hold it up in front of computer for a shot!! Here it is :-)
Gitfiddler Posted August 3, 2009 Posted August 3, 2009 Hi - no proper camera, but can hold it up in front of computer for a shot!! Here it is :-) Cary~ Welcome to the HOC! The tiny black dot on the white selector switch also indicates premium HRW pickups. You've got a very special H-140 indeed. I bet she sings!
