DC Ron
Wasn't really looking for this but it popped up on local CL and was just too good to pass up. Must be one of the early ones. Different specs from current, same as in 93 catalogue: rosewood fingerboard, split block inlays, 5-ply binding on pickguard. Very attractive one piece front and back. Has been played but not abused. Gold is a little faded but surprisingly bright all things considered. Gold on grovers knobs is gone, might look for replacements. Cracked bass pickup surround but still stable enough. Bless my wife. She looks at this and goes, "That's a pretty one--you should keep it!" <a href="http://s584.photobucket.com/albums/ss285/DCRon/?action=view¤t=IMG_2925.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i584.photobucket.com/albums/ss285/DCRon/IMG_2925.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a> <a href="http://s584.photobucket.com/albums/ss285/DCRon/?action=view¤t=IMG_2929.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i584.photobucket.com/albums/ss285/DCRon/IMG_2929.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a> <a href="http://s584.photobucket.com/albums/ss285/DCRon/?action=view¤t=IMG_2927.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i584.photobucket.com/albums/ss285/DCRon/IMG_2927.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>

FredZepp
SWEET !!!! Nice warm look to the finish. When something of the caliper appears on a local CL, it's time to check the GAS funds...... Not your ordinary kind of find. congrats....
DC Ron
Forgot the soundcheck. Have it strung up with D'Addario half round .010's, so it plays about like my H-150 (round wound .010's). Except the neck seems slimmer to me. Will have to A-B that shortly. Sonically it falls between the H-150 and the Eagle Classic, not surprising since all three have the original Schallers. Centerblock doesn't touch the back, so guess I'm getting a bit more oomph than I might from a 335. All in all very sweet!
tulk1
That is an awesome guitar. Myles was playing one at the PSPII. Sounded magnificent. Congrats on such a good find ... and local as well. And oh yeah, bless the wife that understands! Thats how I got the Prospect.

Steiner
If you didn't get one at PSP II, Ren was handing out Roy Clark Heritage picks. Minor details to round one's collection... She's pretty!
