rockerjt Posted August 30, 2009 Posted August 30, 2009 Here are a few pictures of the H150 I received yesterday; I have been playing it a bit, and it is a great guitar. I can't believe the amount of money these things cost, considering the quality. I think I know where my money is going from now on (as far as guitars go anyway).
FredZepp Posted August 30, 2009 Posted August 30, 2009 Oh Yeah.... Very Nice. I do like that one ! Which pick-ups are in it?
Millennium Maestro Posted August 30, 2009 Posted August 30, 2009 Welocome to the darkside!!! Where the force is so powerful. Seymours. Klusons? It all starts with one!! Enjoy Guy
pegleg32 Posted August 30, 2009 Posted August 30, 2009 That sure outshines my Gibby LP. I agree with you about where to spend your money if you want quality. Only one choice.
rockerjt Posted August 30, 2009 Author Posted August 30, 2009 Oh Yeah.... Very Nice. I do like that one ! Which pick-ups are in it? I haven't taken them out yet, but if I recall correctly, they are Duncan Seth Lovers. Whatever they are sound just fine to me.
rockerjt Posted August 30, 2009 Author Posted August 30, 2009 That sure outshines my Gibby LP. I agree with you about where to spend your money if you want quality. Only one choice. It outshines the Gibsons I have had as well. I spent thousands more on the Historic R9's and R0's, and after playing Gibsons since 1982, I think I have found a new home. Honestly, I am that impressed. And again, for the money the decision is a no-brainer.
golferwave Posted August 31, 2009 Posted August 31, 2009 Very nice! You have seen the Kalamazoo light and now understand the handmade quality of Heritage.
paul144 Posted August 31, 2009 Posted August 31, 2009 hey, I miss it already! Neck pick up is a Seth, the bridge is a Gibson '57 CLassic Plus.
mark555 Posted August 31, 2009 Posted August 31, 2009 Stunning guitar, would love to own it myself, enjoy.
shook494 Posted August 31, 2009 Posted August 31, 2009 That thing is SWEET!! Very nice top on that one and welcome to the addiction of Heritage 150's
rockerjt Posted September 2, 2009 Author Posted September 2, 2009 Thanks. Haven't had much time since the weekend to play it, but I do think it is a keeper, and I agree about its beauty; I love just looking at it sometimes. That thing is SWEET!! Very nice top on that one and welcome to the addiction of Heritage 150's
rockerjt Posted September 3, 2009 Author Posted September 3, 2009 I can't believe I didn't notice that I typed this as my H1550; that's what I get for posting without using my glasses. BTW, I have been playing the guitar every night before I go to bed; it really is a great instrument. A keeper.
romk Posted September 10, 2009 Posted September 10, 2009 Congrats! My H-150 has the same colour (not very often I have seen here). I used SD 59 and Gibson Classic 57+. Just exchanged the bridge one for DiMarzio Super Distortion.
DCA Posted September 11, 2009 Posted September 11, 2009 Drop dead pretty guitar. Once I feel comfortable about it, I'll be ordering the exact same guitar. Which is a complicated way of saying, "You've got great taste in guitars."
rockerjt Posted September 11, 2009 Author Posted September 11, 2009 When I was using Historic Gibsons, I usually got this color (Iced Tea). I think it is the coolest color on a burst, although I do like the lemonburst look of Gary Moore's/Peter Greens 59 Les Paul as a close second and the Brock Burst too. This guitar happens to play and sound fantastic, every bit as good as a Historic Gibson, if not better really, which pleasantly surprised me. I will be continuing to buy Heritage, not to mention that I will be pushing them on my Gibson loyal friends. JT Drop dead pretty guitar. Once I feel comfortable about it, I'll be ordering the exact same guitar. Which is a complicated way of saying, "You've got great taste in guitars."
CJTopes Posted September 12, 2009 Posted September 12, 2009 Wow, I just got this one on Aug 28th. Also has Seth's Heritage makes great guitars. This one is every bit as good as any Gibson Les Paul I've played. Now I have gas for a Heritage Semi Hollow

rockerjt Posted September 12, 2009 Author Posted September 12, 2009 Love it. Very nice. I need a stable of these things. I am hoping to get that Big Kahuna one in a month or so, and an acoustic of some type. Wow, I just got this one on Aug 28th. Also has Seth's Heritage makes great guitars.
