Wolfi
Hi guys, there is a person in Germany who wants to sell a Heritage H 150. He said it was formerly owned by Gary Moore. The guitar is signed by Gary Moore and he has a pic of the guitar whis is signed by Gary Moore, too (if it was really Gary Moore). The serial no. of the guitar is: F 29407 Here is the link: http://cgi.ebay.de/HERITAGE-150-VORBESITZE...id=p3286.c0.m14 Any ideas how to find out if this is for real ?? The start price of the auction is 2.999 EUR. Best Wolfi
Millennium Maestro
This is a real beauty... outstanding top, multiply binding, bound and laminated flamed headstock... someone needs to flip the truss cover though!! Guy

yoslate
What kind of wanker takes a Sharpie to a piece of maple like that? Gary should probably pay the buyer for a refin! I wouldn't be interested in paying ridiculous money for a guitar signed by anybody. But if it's to be done, I've seen more considerate "Stars" take a contrasting Sharpie and sign the back of the headstock. Much less obtrusive to the aesthetic of the instrument! Maybe the guy asked Mr. Moore to sign there. Maybe not. I don't care who's standing there holding a sharpie in front of me. If that's my guitar they're not signing the top! Not at all interested in autographs anyway. I used to work with a guy who was going to Univ. of Illinois when SRV came to town. Stevie went to a local record store or something like that to promote his present album at the time. So my former coworker, who was a HUGE SRV fan, brought his G-335 to the store and Stevie graciously signed the back. Very cool.

If Sean Costello would have signed my GT with a sharpie on the top of the guitar I would have killed him. That GM guitar is beautiful but now it's all messed up. Attention all: Sign the control plate, not the wood on the guitar!!!
brentrocks
i think it is just a H 150 deluxe...not a Gary Moore it would have his sig on the headstock
mark555
There are no end people who buy guitars and hang around airports for 'stars' they know are coming through, so they get a guitar autographed with the sole purpose of selling it at a vastly inflated price to some plonker who thinks he is getting something special, What a desecration of a beautiful guitar. I'll bet my 555 on it that it was never owned by Gary Moore, and who can verify if the autograph is genuine? when I am the King all signature guitars will be banned anyway, and we'll buy them because they are what they are and no one will get a huge cut of a nice guitar out of my pocket just because it's their signature model. yngwie308
I fully agree. And I don't think Gary Moore was the former owner of that guitar. The owner sent me some pics of this guitar earlier, it wasn't owned by Gary Moore and isn't a signature model. it's had the revrsed truss rod cover for some time!! yngwie308

I to would go for control panel cover signatures, versus the top... yngwie308
