smurph1 Posted September 22, 2009 Posted September 22, 2009 I would love to hear it..I always worry about whether the bucker is louder than the single coils..You can adjust that somewhat, but it always seems to be a problem..
brentrocks Posted September 22, 2009 Posted September 22, 2009 what does that work out to in $$$$ US...prob about $1800?
tulk1 Posted September 22, 2009 Posted September 22, 2009 I like it except for the pointy headstock. Never did like those, no matter who built it.
sanddancer Posted September 22, 2009 Author Posted September 22, 2009 Thanks DC Ron for the link.....I'm still finding my way......Its $ 1, 300 and it seems to me to be much cheaper to buy a Heritage in the US and ship it over to the UK...if you can get anyone willing to ship beyond the famous 48!! I like the pointy headstock, it seems to be an interesting feature...but WTF the 4 switches are for ...?
DCA Posted September 22, 2009 Posted September 22, 2009 I like it except for the pointy headstock. Never did like those, no matter who built it. Yup. I was digging the massive poles and titanic pup routes, I actually felt a sprinkle of sugar being poured upon my head as I considered its garishly attractive bludgeon burst. Then you had to go and mention the headstock. *Shudder* Nevermind it's other virtues, that isn't an easy guitar to cohabitate with.
sanddancer Posted September 22, 2009 Author Posted September 22, 2009 well they do say that beauty is in the eye of the abuser!!..I'd prefer the trad 150 style ..but in the UK over here beyond the atlantic ice floes ...Heritage are scarce ish and expensive...proust !
