Also love the Epiphone in the pic, Bluebox, I do;t know how you could have parted with that guitar... By the way, hi and welcome to HOC. Thanks for the welcome. My Epiphone Crestwood Deluxe was a wonderful rockin' guitar. However, eventually I realized that it was not so well-suited for my main style of music--blues and whatnot (mostly the whatnot). Gibson and Epiphone billed certain guitars as "fretless wonders", each having low, wide frets, and the Crestwood Deluxe fit that description. Eventually, I found other guitars that better allowed me to "bend the wire". I consider myself a player (or a play-at-er), rather than a collector. The Crestwood, as a vintage collectible, increased in value so much that I became a little concerned that something should happen to it. I was able to sell it almost overnight before the Great Recession hit, in 2006.
