KarlS
My H140 is supposed to be a H140CMCL. What does CMCL mean? Sometimes I see acronyms which clearly stand for coloring; but CMCL?
tulk1
HI Karl. CM=Curly Maple. CL=Classic. Edit: Uh, you do know you can't ask questions without showing us the guitar, right?
SouthpawGuy
My H140 is supposed to be a H140CMCL. What does CMCL mean? Sometimes I see acronyms which clearly stand for coloring; but CMCL? Hi, That would be for Curly Maple (the top) and Classic. Classic often denotes use of Duncan '59 pickups. Here's a link to a 140CM on the Heritage website http://www.heritageguitar.com/models/H140CM.htm edit: beaten to the draw by tulk . pics are always welcome by the way. KarlS
HI Karl. CM=Curly Maple. CL=Classic. Edit: Uh, you do know you can't ask questions without showing us the guitar, right? You re right, of course. Here she is: http://www.heritageownersclub.com/forums/u..._152_877850.jpg http://www.heritageownersclub.com/forums/u...152_1930182.jpg She is perfect. Not too heavy, looks great and - better yet - sounds even better. There is one problem though. With Heritage producing such a nice instrument, I am now lusting after a better amp and a H555 (or a H575 with a Bigsby. Or both). I haven't run this by my quarterback, though. She is of the opinion that a new lamp in the living room, a new couch and the education of the kids come long before a new guitar. Unfortunately she is right (as always, of course) In the meantime I play the lottery...
Dick Seacup
I thought CMCL meant "Country Music" and "Craigs List". Just kidding; here are KarlS' pics: I love that brown sugar looking finish.
FredZepp
A really, really nice 140 there... 1st edition even (sharp cutaway). I really like these, I just recently picked one up and just think that it's awesome. That finish on yours is uncommonly delicious.....
