Jazzpunk Posted October 10, 2009 Posted October 10, 2009 I've been thinking how cool it would be to add some bling to my 575's headstock. Something along these lines: I know nothing about this process though. Can it be done once a guitar has been completed or does it have to be done when the neck is still a separate piece sans any finishing? Tell me what ya' know about inlays!
big bob Posted October 10, 2009 Posted October 10, 2009 I would imagine a skilled inlay artist could do it after the fact... might be pricey? http://www.sharkinlay.com/faq.htm

Looks like maybe it's something I should hold off and do on a custom order. Sure would be cool though. The finish on the headstock is pretty basic so maybe it would be doable?
