Here's a couple new pics of Greeny & Yodder with the Carr Ramber.

Then a close up of Yodder herself (We have a lot of Amish in OH, especially North Central OH. Yodder is a very common Amish name. As in Mrs. Yodder's Quilt shop)

Those are both drop jaw-droppers, absolutely stunning.

(Dumb) Question about the one on the left: That's a curly maple cap? I'm thinking about putting together somthing almost identical to that instrument, hence the interest. Would be handy to know exactly what I'm considering (a common problem for me).

The left is called Quilt - which is generally a bubble type effect in the Maple. Curly is generally more elongated in the movement, less tight like Kuz's 535 P90. Greenie (guitar on the right) is probaby Curly Maple, but tends to lean more towards Flame - which is tighter movement generally in parallel lines.

Hey,

Kuz, I have been out of the loop. Is that the AXE Brent was selling or some other beautiful flamed guitar? I haven't followed the threads close enough to know where that guitar came from.. REAL nice though wherever it came from. You are a lucky guy!

Great pics, great post, Kenny! The quilt cap is also a terrific example of bookmatching, as well. Note the perfect mirroring!

1. Quilt Maple

2. Rosewood Fretboards (thank goodness. I'm not a big ebony fan)

3. I traded a wonderful Tele to a HOC member for it. With the Ron Kirn Tele coming, it made my Tele more disposable. So it's not Brent's old guitar.

My friend, that is one beautiful set of guitars you have there. like any proud papa you should hold your head high. I would be intimidated to play either one in fear of marring the finish through either my acid sweat or just my poor playing.. Rock on Kuz ..
