FredZepp Posted November 6, 2009 Posted November 6, 2009 lpdeluxe.... nice post. It even offers some insightful thoughts on the supply/demand dynamic...
Mikenov Posted November 6, 2009 Posted November 6, 2009 Whatever guys.. Keep believing that. Meanwhile, I have emptied out my 401K and bought every Heritage on the market. After I unload these babies in 5 years for 5000% returns I will be sipping martinis in the French Riviera. Champagne nights and Caviar dreams baby!!!

FredZepp and zookroo1, thank you. This has been on my mind lately, especially after a guy I know from another forum bought a pair of Heritage guitars (a gorgeous blonde Eagle and a 575) for something under $5K. Perhaps the madness is ending, but, as the old saying goes, nothing is fool-proof, because fools are too ingenious. Personally, I'm now retired, and pretty much have the guitars/basses/amps that I need (in the specialized sense of the guitar owner, that is), but I'd love to see good guitars in the hands of musicians instead of collectors, again.

Never forget the married guitarist's prayer: "when I am gone, please don't let my wife sell my guitars for what I told her I paid for them!"
