Mikenov Posted February 11, 2008 Posted February 11, 2008 I just ordered the 5/16th pocket truss rod wrench from Stewmac. Is this the right size? I had a hell of a time at the hardware store this weekend buying and returing 5/16th drivers . None of them could get into the "cavity" far enough and I didn't want to strip anything so I was being extra catious. Let me know. I think thats the right size but I don't want to wait 2 days if its the 1/4 inch version. Any advice is much appreciated!
Cryoman Posted February 11, 2008 Posted February 11, 2008 Gibson electrics come with (and I am nearly certainyou can buy one separately) a nut wrench. It's basically a short 5/16" with a 90 degree angled handle. I suppose you could make your own but you'd need a non-chromed socket and then you'd have to anneal it so it could be bored for the handle or, alternatively you could weld to it. Cheers, Cryoman
