jaywolfe
Been some speculations & ruminations, so I'll inject some observations. Heritage is doing fine considering the business climate at present. Their overhead is quite low and they have orders. I know we are submitting a steady flow of orders- both custom & for stock. They're NOT screaming for money when owed, which is an improvement over the distant (Pre-Margol) past. Our Heritage bus. is enjoying a strong up-surge at present, which is somewhat fueled by the deliciously weak dollar. We're shipping Heritages overseas as fast as we can, and the domestic demand for Heritage guitars is actually quite good at present. Please remember that 90% of the US work force are employed. Re- Graham's remark about a 2010 price increase. Graham was merely speculating, as we've not heard of any planned increase whatsoever. Some rather unusual & positive sales- we sold "4" Super KB models last week!.......We sold "3" Skolnick models in past few days! (doesn't hurt for Alex himself to recommend us on his blog)............H535's, H150's, H555's are all selling very well at present. More as we have it, because you seem keen to know. Dick Seacup
Hey, Jay, are any of your stock orders for a black H-157 with nickel (not chrome!) hardware, Alnico V staple P90 in the neck, regular P90 in the bridge and low frets? Seriously, thank you for jumping in!

golferwave
Thanks for your insight Jay. Seems there's always an upside. The overseas market can depend on you to get their Heritage fix, and I'm sure many have been waiting for this opportunity to buy when the currency exchange rates are in their favor. Keep us posted on any news.

Jay Wolfe Thanks, Jay. You don't have to stick your neck out, but it is in everybody's interest to have some credible information. Unsubstantiated negative rumors can have a powerful impact on a business. When I joined this forum a little more than two years ago, the air was rife with various rumors regarding Parsons Street, and I had a custom order somewhere in limbo. I recall that as a pretty stressful experience. I've lately been considering pulling the trigger on another custom order. Reassuring to hear that things aren't at all dire in Kalamazoo!
