je00143 Posted November 18, 2009 Posted November 18, 2009 I discovered a funky website called playalittleguitar.com the other day. They showed the Gibson Jimi Hendrix tribute LP. Somebody at the blog came up with the Fender LP Tribute. They came from nevertoolateguitar.com which is another one that should be looked at from time to time. Check it out…: http://nevertoolateguitar.com/2009/09/23/f...model-revealed/ They also had a picture of a guitar with three arrows pointing at it. One was at the nut and was labeled Nut. Another one was pointing to the bridge and was labeled Bridge. The third arrow pointed at the twelfth fret and said You Are Here. Knee-slappers all, but hey, as long as there is music you might as well dance - or play a Heritage… Gil
tbonesullivan Posted November 18, 2009 Posted November 18, 2009 I wonder what happened to all of the Jimi Hendrix stuff that Gibson was developing. from the pictures that were shown they were definitely in production at the time that they were cancelled. did they just scrap all the guitars?

ledzef Posted November 19, 2009 Posted November 19, 2009 Anybody click on the link to which it was inspired by? It's the SRV Gibson tribute that's a black Les Paul Custom w/SRV stickers on it. LOL.
smurph1 Posted November 19, 2009 Posted November 19, 2009 Gotta admit the Fender Les Paul looks better, than that Gibbon Monstrosity! But it still seems to go against the laws of nature..
