What to do?

I was at the local GC today and they had a H 150 P, Black on the used wall. I had seen this guitar before and i thought it had Throbaks in it. Sure enough, it does. They are asking $999 for the guitar and case....the pups are $350. I was thinking if i could get them down on the price, pull out the Throbaks, put them in 1 of my Heritages and put a different set back in the black 150P and then re-selling it?

 

Does that sound like a stupid plan?

You have to do the math... and you need to figure out two things

1) What can you buy it for...

2) What can you resell it for with the other pickups.

The difference between them is amount ( + the other pu's) that you're paying for the Throbaks.

I believe that it was GC that send me a 15% off anything for Black Friday.... That would reduce a the cost a good amount....

i dont think i'm gonna mess with it....used stuff, especially a 150 P will probably not move right now and i dont really want to tie up a bunch of cash in something just for a set of pups.
