totonka Posted December 1, 2009 Posted December 1, 2009 I was in Dayton, Ohio today and stopped by a music store, Hauer Music, to see the Heritages they have in stock. Immediately, what drew my eye, was a "black beauty" H-157 that they said they had just received today. It was stunning. Next to it was a black Millenium with chrome hardware. Sooooo nice. Then the two H-535s, one in old style sunburst. Two Sweet 16's, and a H-575 (my new favorite). All of them at Holiday prices! They tell me that the Heritage's are selling well. In fact, they show me a 70's model, well played G-335 that a player brought in and traded for a new Heritage 535. They said he loved the way the old guitar played, and it only made sense to get a new one from the same folks that built his old one. It was all good. I was glad to hear that the Heritages are moving. They don't have their inventory on-line, but here is a link to their site: Hauer Music
FredZepp Posted December 1, 2009 Posted December 1, 2009 That is some good news... and nice to hear that it is here in Ohio also.
Kuz Posted December 1, 2009 Posted December 1, 2009 That is my local dealer, the one I have referenced before. Yes they are moving pretty well. I went in the other day to check out a 530 and it was gone! (And one of those 555, was mine. I tried to give it away here... boo hoo)
smurph1 Posted December 1, 2009 Posted December 1, 2009 That's good news!! Quality triumphs over marketing! Go HERITAGE!
grooveyard Posted December 1, 2009 Posted December 1, 2009 I think I would have to agree that Heritage is getting their due respect where you are at
hiro Posted December 1, 2009 Posted December 1, 2009 That's awesome, when I got mine (on black friday), the staff said the Heritages were being passed up for Gibsons . . . the guys say when someone goes to the Heritages, they know this is someone in the know . . .
CJTopes Posted December 2, 2009 Posted December 2, 2009 I stopped at a local music store yesterday just for the hell of it. I see a Heritage Patriot amp and decide I must check it out. They dont have heritage guitars so I picked up an 08 Gibby LP traditional. The amp sounded great but the thing that blew me away was how much better my Heritage 150 is compared to the new Gibby LP! Damn I wish I would have found out about heritage before I wasted my money on other guitars!
