slider 313 offered to fix my '67 Bassman head for me, a few weeks back..it was cutting in and out and the sound was quite weak..Had to turn it way up to compete with the band. I actually play bass through it which I'm told is kind of rare..(Most people use em for guitar I guess) Well Mike worked his magic on it, and Wow what a difference..I used it last night with the full band..(2 guitars and drums) and I only had to turn the volume to 3 and I was cutting through like a hot knife..Thanks Slider..You da man!!

Scott...your welcome.....and do me a favor.....plug your guitar in it someday. I know these were designed for bass at the time but there is also a "normal" channel for guitar use. Blackface Bassman's are also killer guitar amps. Btw, you should see what I'm working on today...............

You cook and fix amps?! Does Mrs. Slider know how fortunate she is?

Mrs. Slider is quite the cook herself. She made a chicken piccata dish with some spinach and cheese crepes last week that was outstanding. She does help from time to time with my amp repairs also........like when I'm not sure if I'm going to get a shock, I have her hold down the wire in question. ;)
