Welcome Charley!

Is there something wrong with your guitar or are you just worried that something might be? How does it look/feel/ sound to you? Do you have any pics you can post?

Charley,

I'm sitting here with my "Blues Deluxe" in my lap! It is the best guitar I've ever had my hands on IMHO. I think many people have had bad experiences with Ed Roman, and he apparently had some difficulty with Heritage, because he went from singing their praises to panning them on his site, and this has led to people bashing the guitar on discussion boards, etc. As far a s I know the guitar is a Prospect but with 2 mods- full center block instead of a floating one ( Heritage did for Ed Roman ), and a Gibson style bridge ( Ed Roman put on ). It may have a lower resale value because it is a weirdo, non standard Heritage, but no matter to me, I'll be 6 feet under when it gets sold, if my daughter isn't playing it!

The problems between Heritage and Roman were his treatment of Heritage customers. Not the guitars he had them build. That Blues Deluxe should be one awesome guitar! I love my Millies, but my Prospect is my fav Heritage - even have a custom build on order. FYI, the boys in the 'zoo have gone to "gibson style" bridges. Would like to see some pics of your Blues Deluxe.

Bought my Blues Deluxe back in 05 it's a great guitar. I have HRW pups and I'm very happy with the tone. Did you opt for the Duncan black backs on yours Charley? I'd say you have nothing to worry about they're great guitars.

Not to worry... Heritage built it, not Ed Roman. Man, I really feel sorry for some of those guys on Harmony Central who dropped like 5 grand on an Ed Roman model and ended up with firewood. Anyone want to buy his tour bus? Its for sale on his site.
