tbonesullivan Posted December 14, 2009 Posted December 14, 2009 Schaller pickups look almost identical to any other covered pickup. If you have two screws on each side of the pickup, they are schallers or HRW pickups. If they have one, you've got duncans.
charley Posted December 14, 2009 Author Posted December 14, 2009 they got two screws i know that for sure
tulk1 Posted December 14, 2009 Posted December 14, 2009 they got two screws i know that for sure Then you have Schallers, for sure. If the pickup selector does not have a colored dot on the tip (as has been pointed out), then you have the regular Schallers Golden 50's (again, pointed out earlier). That is what I have in my Prospect (and my 535). They are great pickups. Especially for semi-hollows. Very balanced, very responsive. Sounds like you got a killer guitar, there!
charley Posted December 14, 2009 Author Posted December 14, 2009 absolutley. Ive been playing this guitar or 6 years and still love the hell out of it. Lookin to get a solid body as my next guitar hows the heritage solidbody (not the lespaul style)
