dave Posted December 22, 2009 Posted December 22, 2009 I've had a Heritage sitting in the closet since 1992 .... bought it from a guy at work who was just hard up on cash, and threw it in the closet since i was a 'strat' player, and this one was in slightly rought shape. I have since lost the paperwork he gave me, and i do remember some type of sticker with an H model # ... but alas, i t must be somewhere safe, since I cant find it. I have a set neck, strat, serial # d28801, first of that model made on Oct 15, 1997 .... and yes - a set neck strat, S_S_H pickup arangement, with 4 dpdt toggles instead of the 5 way switch. It would also appear that this guitar was factory wired for series/parallel, and coil tapping of the humbucker. Factory kahler as well. Anyone have an idea of a model number, or where i might find an original wiring diagram ? Heritage apparently has no info on 'older' model on their site, and I havent been able to find another Heritage strat body anywhere on the web.
shook494 Posted December 22, 2009 Posted December 22, 2009 Sounds like a STAT model to me? D serial number would make it a 1987. If you look under the control cavity cover, the model should be hand written in there along with the color. Some pictures would be cool. welcome to the club!!
