mark555 Posted December 26, 2009 Posted December 26, 2009 I would like to nominate Kuz's H535 in that beautiful wineburst with P90's as the best looking Heritage I have seen in a long time, and certainly the best of this year. So which Heritage has got your attention the most? come on guys, tell us all what grabs you. Remember though, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Is it the Korina 137, or a top of the range Golden Eagle? Nominate a guitar and lets see if there is one that seems to get noticed more than any other. Remember, this is only for fun.
Thundersteel Posted December 26, 2009 Posted December 26, 2009 beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Hmmm...I always thought beauty is in the eye of the beerholder!
FredZepp Posted December 26, 2009 Posted December 26, 2009 Soooo Many... It would be nice if I could find some quick pics of them... but ... Steiners two tone 575, or JazzPunks 525 , or GolferWaves new 150 w mini's, or Bigbob's BahamaBurst, or TboneSullivan's 535..... any of you want to post a pic.. go ahead. I missed a bunch , those were the ones that came to mind first...
FredZepp Posted December 26, 2009 Posted December 26, 2009 And I have lost count of how many awesome Heritage's are in Kuz's stable.... The last 150 was really nice , I remember...
Gitfiddler Posted December 26, 2009 Posted December 26, 2009 FredZep~ You are way too modest! You clearly have one of the best looking Heritage guitars ever made. Your Centurion also doubles as one of the most historically significant models ever made by Heritage. Yes, beauty is in the eyes of the beholder. But the level of beauty and craftsmanship in that instrument is second to none. Just my dos centavos, amigo.
Kuz Posted December 26, 2009 Posted December 26, 2009 Excuse to post, did you say?!! BTW, I vote Centurion, Steiner's 575, Rob's SUPER super, and Kenny's Milli!
FredZepp Posted December 26, 2009 Posted December 26, 2009 Nice pics Kuz... and thanks Gitfiddler and Kuz for the comments. That 150 quilt is ..... awesome. I need to see Rob's SUPER super again... forgot that one, I'll look for a pic...
Spectrum13 Posted December 26, 2009 Posted December 26, 2009 Jay's custom EAGLE P90, Steiners 575, HFB's Goldtop Semi... Slates Super - they stand out....
pegleg32 Posted December 26, 2009 Posted December 26, 2009 I love Kuz's collection of beautiful guitars and he has a stable which collectively would be hard to compare to, but I lean towards the Zepp Centurion because of it's uniqueness in combination with it's beauty.
High Flying Bird Posted December 26, 2009 Posted December 26, 2009 Don't forget this one..... oh, try not to look directly at the crazy Mofo holding it.
Thundersteel Posted December 26, 2009 Posted December 26, 2009 Thanks, Ron--my ugly mug for all to see! It is a beautiful guitar, though--just like all the others mentioned!
FredZepp Posted December 26, 2009 Posted December 26, 2009 Seems like there's been a plethora of nice 525's and 575's lately also..
ledzef Posted December 26, 2009 Posted December 26, 2009 Fred's Centurion finest example of a Heritage guitar I've ever seen.
skydog Posted December 27, 2009 Posted December 27, 2009 Regretfully, I nominate Fahme's H-150; which I tried to buy but was unsuccessful. The grain in this guitar is unbelievable and has to be seen to be believed. Every angle shows a new dimension.
Jazzpunk Posted December 27, 2009 Posted December 27, 2009 Too many amazing guitars here to nominate just one!
Millennium Maestro Posted December 27, 2009 Posted December 27, 2009 how bout this for a backside.... This babys got back!!
Jazzpunk Posted December 27, 2009 Posted December 27, 2009 I usually don't go for the au natural myself but when I saw this Millennium Eagle my eyes nearly popped out of my head! http://www.delortoguitar.com/millennium_eagle.asp# Holy bling Batman!
rooster Posted December 27, 2009 Posted December 27, 2009 My Black-and-Tan H150. But, I'm prejudiced. I'm silly that way. rooster.
FredZepp Posted December 27, 2009 Posted December 27, 2009 Quite Awesome 150 there... M M... I hadn't seen that one in a while... Whew...
gopeteygo Posted December 27, 2009 Posted December 27, 2009 I think this one is the best looking one I've seen so far. And it's still for sale in the marketplace! Clicky
Millennium Maestro Posted December 27, 2009 Posted December 27, 2009 I have been looking for a picture of a guitar I wanted from Wolfe's that ended up in HighFlyingBird's (?)hands if I remember correct. A Late 90's crazy quilted natural 575 custom? Calling HBird.....can you confirm and supply pics. I think all you others should toss into the forum some conciderations. M.M.
tulk1 Posted December 27, 2009 Posted December 27, 2009 Perhaps for grins we should break it out into model groups. Fact is, there are SO many stunning tops coming out of Parsons Street it would be nearly impossible to pick "one". I think my Millie NFH is one of the most stunning tops I've seen. Then I look at nearly anyone's 535 (especially in ALSB or OSB) and I'm just floored. Ooops, there's someones natural top H150 and yeah, that's it. Except for that 575 I just saw. (names withheld to protect my oldhimerz). So, what if we said best Millie; 535; 150; 575; Prospect. OR, best solid body; best semi (hollow or solid); best hollow - what did I miss? This my Millie that I'm so partial to. Altho it's certainly not the only one owned here that gets me to grinnin'.
