The 150 is a '07 and the 535 '05. Both are really great guitars. The 150 came with SD 59's and the 535 has Wolfetone Dr.V's.

The Marshall stuff is a '69 small top tremolo 50, '74 superlead and a '68 "minty" cab with original 25 watters.

The Fender is a 67 Vibro champ, unmolested, still with the original Fender branded tubes from day one. I bought it from the original owner about 2 weeks ago. ;D

The Vox stuff is the new AC30CC with cab. I did swap out the wharfedales for the Weber silver/blue combo. These are great amps!!

Couple of nice looking sticks, plexi!  Really good cherry color on the 535!!  And the Marshall cab...you gotta drag one of those behind the car for miles to get it to look like that!  Bet that cab has some stories to tell!!      ;)

The cab is killer. No other cab I've owned or played through can match it. Original 25 watters with 014 cones.  I can't take the credit for the road wear. It actually belonged to a local geetar player who toured with it for years. I tried to buy it off him for several years, about 10 years back.  One day he calls "Hey man, my engine blew up can you buy this cab pronto" So I was on it and we agreed on $600 and the biggest Wendy's burger combo meal at the time. ;D

That was the going rate back then, wow what a deal. I could never afford one now. I did make a deal with him, If I ever sell it he gets first chance back for the fair market price and a big burger ;D However I'm keepin' this one  :o

Plexi...

Is there something plugged in to 3 of the 4 inputs on the '74 Superlead? Whats that all about?

Sparky...

That's just a jumper from the channel one low out into channel 2 hi input. It's just twisted around and looks like it's also in the channel 1 high input, but not. I normally use this set up to blend superb low end in while turning down the regular bass tone knob back on the amp. Really makes for a nice full low end without too much woofiness. Works real good too.

I also like to turn the prescence control on full, especially on the the small top. There's a big gain boost in those early prescence knobs. I do that and blend the channel 1-2 volumes to help get the TONE I want, not just volume, before I shape the e.q. I like to e'q as little as possible. I find over e.q'ing can really squash some of a guitars natural overtones.

Works real good, give it a try! ;D
