runnerlk Posted January 2, 2010 Posted January 2, 2010 Picked up a lovely 575 from GC in Kalamazoo as a replacement for my Eastman AR 810 that I sold. ASB finish serial number R23501 so looks like it was born in 2000. Not sure if it is a custom or not since it has only a single mounted. Anyone that can provide me any additional info would greatly appreciated. Not sure whether it is a spruce or mohagany top. She is a real joy to play and I look forward to many years together. Lou
ingeneri Posted January 2, 2010 Posted January 2, 2010 Congrats on the "new" 575. I think it's a standard because it has dot inlays, but Heritage accomodates so much customization who knows. Anyways, enjoy the great guitar.
ronalr Posted January 2, 2010 Posted January 2, 2010 Congratulations....that is a great color.....bet it sounds smooth!!
JohnCovach Posted January 2, 2010 Posted January 2, 2010 It looks like a custom-order standard to me. Very nice!
Teeky Posted January 2, 2010 Posted January 2, 2010 Built for jazzy sounds by the look of that single neck pickup. I would agree it is a standard as the customs tend to have block inlays, bound neck and headstock and gold fittings. Cool though - never seen a single pup 575 before. Enjoy!
fxdx99 Posted January 2, 2010 Posted January 2, 2010 Nice top/figure/finish on that axe. Very nice. Congrats on the new guitar - enjoy it!
FredZepp Posted January 3, 2010 Posted January 3, 2010 I remember seeing this one. Very nice , no doubt. It has a really nice flamed front and back ... and yes, I'd agree.. looks like maple.
runnerlk Posted March 25, 2011 Author Posted March 25, 2011 I am looking to sell my 575 to fund the purchase of a pre-loved Eagle. While I do love the 575 and think it is far superior to my 74 ES-175 and the Eastman AR810CE I had prior, I miss the acoustic sound the Eastman gave me and since I have a 175, regrettably the 575 must go. So, got a few questions: 1) Should I expect the eagle classic to give me that acoustic performance? 2) What should i be asking for my 575? It really is a beauty, but with just one pickup I don't know if that hurts is re-sale value 3) Does anyone play an eagle with an Acoustic Image Corus or a Roland AC-60? If so, can you describe the sound. Thanks

Lou What happened to the bridge pickup? Its gone!
Dasherdave Posted March 25, 2011 Posted March 25, 2011 That is the nicest 575 I have ever seen...my kind of colour and gorgeous grain and appointments....so beautiful!!
runnerlk Posted March 25, 2011 Author Posted March 25, 2011 What happened to the bridge pickup? Its gone! Never had one, must have been a custom order. But the rest of it looks standard, so not sure. It definitely was not removed.
