firebird Posted January 7, 2010 Posted January 7, 2010 ...the first letter of it seems a bit, well...smudged. Is this a common occurrence on other Heritage guitars? If I'm reading it correctly, it's B16601. But, in reality, it's so smudged, it could actually be an A or an E at the start, and I don't even know if they've ever used an A or E prefix on the guitars (I'm really, really not an expert). I'll see if I can get a decent enough photo and bung it up on the site. Great, great guitar, whatever. Any comments welcome...
firebird Posted January 7, 2010 Author Posted January 7, 2010 more than likely a E It's really poorly defined. I will try to get a pic up asap.
SouthpawGuy Posted January 7, 2010 Posted January 7, 2010 Have you checked the control plate ? The serial # is often on the rear of it ... Here's an example from the gallery
