brentrocks Posted January 20, 2010 Posted January 20, 2010 The Trans-green H 150 arrived today, all 11.5 lbs. of it! I like the Bill Lawrence pups so far....i havent had a lot of play time on it yet. The neck is a little slimmer than normal, but i like that. There are a couple deeper gouges on the back side, but the top and headstock are clean. Frets are in super condition as well. I think the scale is a lil misleading...it really doesnt feel that heavy on the shoulder The overall setup was really good out of the box...adjusted a couple minor things. the action it pretty darn low. I certainly cant complain about the price.
skydog52 Posted January 20, 2010 Posted January 20, 2010 Nice Brent, That color is awesome. I like the pickguard, good contrast. Enjoy
Kuz Posted January 20, 2010 Posted January 20, 2010 Wow, Brent that is really cool. You know that green is my favorite color as well. Go play that heavy mama!!!! You know heavy guitars have the best tone!!!!
FredZepp Posted January 20, 2010 Posted January 20, 2010 Very Nice... I like the pickups, pickguard and knobs with that green top.. It all goes together just right. And I will bet that it rocks.
big bob Posted January 20, 2010 Posted January 20, 2010 Congrats, may you play her in good health young man
pegleg32 Posted January 20, 2010 Posted January 20, 2010 Neat guitar Brent, and the real beauty is that you can make some money when you sell that one!!!
Administrator Posted January 20, 2010 Posted January 20, 2010 The color of money! The pups are intersting. I had blades in a guitar a couple years ago (can't remember which one, though) that were just sort of "meh". They were single coils trying to be humbuckers, though, which may have played a part in their lackluster performance. Those Bill Lawrence pups look super cool in that though!

yoslate Posted January 20, 2010 Posted January 20, 2010 In theory, green does everything to contradict my guitar aesthetic. But I think that 150 is just Badass! Great score, Brent!
