High Flying Bird Posted January 29, 2010 Posted January 29, 2010 pics of the LP you have for sale? Man Dog, you know nobody has ever been able to play slide on a Les Paul. What are you thinking.
High Flying Bird Posted January 29, 2010 Posted January 29, 2010 That 137 Brent is having made is one sweet guitfiddle. A custom would be really nice. You know something Blues, a 137DC would be really wild if it were chambered and had an f-hole. I bet it would sound like a wailing Ric 330. 3 minibuckers, slim neck, wine red finish, gold hardware.... and the Bigsby (w) Chet Atkins handle. Dear Lord help me!!! I have GAS.
blues Posted January 29, 2010 Author Posted January 29, 2010 Hi skydog, yep I have some pics,I also have some In the for sale section. Here are more pics http://photobucket.com/lplplp

brentrocks Posted February 5, 2010 Posted February 5, 2010 LOL 1-24-10 I first saw the 137 on the Heritage website. That led me to hear. We will both be new H 137 DC owners very soon...i should be picking mine up next week
blues Posted February 5, 2010 Author Posted February 5, 2010 Cool if I sounds as good as it looks that would be great.
blues Posted February 6, 2010 Author Posted February 6, 2010 My 137dc came today. I let it sit in the case for 5 hours untill I was sure it was warm enough. Plays good. I played for about 2 hours. The lollar p-90s are killer. I have a marshall vm halfstack, It took me some time to get it dialed in, A tweak here and there. Ive been through lots of guitars over the years. I only miss two of them that I wish I still had. I know its the honeymoon period but my 137dc is right up there with those two. The action is a little high, but I like it that way. Plays great up and down the neck. With the neck joint and the 19th fret I can get down the neck with no effort. Sustains good. Here are some pics. It looks better in person.
FredZepp Posted February 6, 2010 Posted February 6, 2010 Wow the wood / finish on that is just beautiful. They've always done well with a nice piece of mahogany. A Tone machine that looks like it would be comfortable to play also. Congrats on the NEW GUITAR DAY !!!
