Gitfiddler
Fender's new Pro Jr III sounds like a big little tone monster at 15 watts. I might have to get one of em, especially if they come out with a tan tweed tolex version. Fender Pro Jr III
LK155
Wheezing Geezer,I know it's a little late, but, I'm working my way through the amp form and just got a chance to listen to the 3 sound clips, and just want to tell you that they're all absolutely beautiful! Koula901, This old hack appreciates your kind words. Those three are my favorites. I try to record only songs that sound good to ME, and am always pleasantly surprised when I hear that someone else might enjoy them too. A few times I have gone back into the editor software and contemplated fixing up some of the flubs in those songs, but have always backed away from changing them, thinking they are what they are, and if they're not perfect, so be it. Thank you for your comments, Lyle P.S. It appears your guitar arsenal is very similar to mine (strat-style, 150-type, 137). You're going to enjoy your soon-to-be 137. koula901
Lyle, Yes, follow your instincts and don't ever change those clips. Like you, I had a Suhr strat style guitar, but had to trade it because I'd ordered it with a super thin neck, and over the past couple yrs have been finding out I actually like fatter necks. I traded it to Jerry's Lefty, and go to his website from time to time, to see if someone's adopted my baby - I hope it finds a good home. Isn't that sick! : D I tricked out my MIM strat w/ Suhr back plate @ V60 LP pups; Suhr pups are great. Once the H 137 comes in, the search for a great amp begins. I suspect the H 137 will become my main guitar b/c I like it's fatter tone compared to the MIM strat. Keep making great music! : ) Koula
