Guido Posted February 12, 2010 Posted February 12, 2010 Hi Everyone! I ordered a Faber Vintage ABR Style Bridge to replace the Schaller Roller Bridge. Now I noticed that I can't use the studs from the Schaller Bridge for the Faber Bridge. Does anybody know where I can get some replacement studs which will fit the new bridge? Thanks Guido

Spectrum13 Posted February 12, 2010 Posted February 12, 2010 Faber makes a couple of different studs but the steel conversion work best. Brown Factory makes one that screws into the anchors. Are you getting the locking ABR-1? They lock by threading onto the posts.

Guido Posted February 15, 2010 Author Posted February 15, 2010 Ok Guys! You can get correct posts from Faber. The kit is called NSWKIT. The posts will fit with M5 diameter into the drilling holes of the schaller hardware. A phone call with a german suplplier solved the problem, because the NSWKIT ist not listed on the german Faber HP. I have no idea why! I a also recieved an email from Schaller. They have also correct studs to fit ABR bridges. They send me some for half the price of the Faber NSWKIT!!! Just wanted to let you know that there are solutions out there Guido
