Twin Posted February 18, 2010 Posted February 18, 2010 Thoughts about the 575 with the Bigbsy? I'm looking at one at a local store, plays very nice and I love the looks of it, any downside to the trem? Anything I should look for and how much is too much to pay? There asking 1,250 seems reasonable, it's pretty clean ?
brentrocks Posted February 18, 2010 Posted February 18, 2010 the price sounds good if it is in good shape....is it at GC?
FredZepp Posted February 18, 2010 Posted February 18, 2010 Yeah , the price sounds right... that will be one cool axe. Tell us more... Finish, Pickups, fret wear, flame?
Kuz Posted February 18, 2010 Posted February 18, 2010 It that the one from Elderly that had a screwed up job mounting the Bigsby? Might want to look twice if it is.
High Flying Bird Posted February 18, 2010 Posted February 18, 2010 It that the one from Elderly that had a screwed up job mounting the Bigsby? Kuz, wasn't that a 550? I have never had a problem with the Bigsbys on my 535s but I don't use it as a dive bomber simulator.

Yes you do you lying sack of... Eddie Frikin' Van Halen. Why I bet... Oops, wrong forum. Sir High Flying Bird is correct. It was a 550. He should know; he played it so dog-gone hard on the way to last year's PSP that he broke it off. They botched the repair and want to blame it on him. Last time I was at Elderly's, they had a wanted poster with his picture (seems to me he had a pocket protector in his shirt), hanging in the entry. I would think that the versatility of the 575 would provide a solid foundation for tremolo. It also sounds like a fantastic deal! Tell us more! Color, appointments, etc...
High Flying Bird Posted February 18, 2010 Posted February 18, 2010 Yes you do you lying sack of... Eddie Frikin' Van Halen. Why I bet... You get one Bigsby arm stuck in a chick's belt loop and they put up signs and make you register with the cops when you come to town......
High Flying Bird Posted February 18, 2010 Posted February 18, 2010 There asking 1,250 seems reasonable, it's pretty clean..... If you are interested in this guitar you had damn sure better keep it's location secret, especially if it is around Michigan. $1250 is a great price.

Ya, I forget that my home town is in my tag.... I lost a JEM777 LNG that way.. it's not at GC and it's definitly a 575, I'll get some more info on it.
