Isaac Posted February 25, 2010 Posted February 25, 2010 I went to the Heritage Company February 23,2010 and picked up my new H550. I tried to upload pics of this beautiful guitar but my files are to big. If Brent or anyone can help upload the pics. I can email them to you to share with the Heritage Owners Club.

Congratulations!!! For the pics... not sure if you have Windows or Mac, but I know for windows you can open it in the Paint program (start menu>all programs>accessories>paint) then just open the image, go to "image" and go to "stretch/Skew" (or just hit ctrl+w) - from there just change the size (60% should do) then I would save the image as something else so you don't mess with the original picture. I took a screenshot below that might help - I'm sure there are better ways out there, but just thought I'd throw in my 2 cents (that and I am anxious to see the pics! )
Gitfiddler Posted February 26, 2010 Posted February 26, 2010 One way to get your images posted is to go through one of the free image hosting sites: www.imageshack.us www.photobucket.com These are a couple to choose from, or you can Google others. We're glad you found this place to hang out, eat pickles and talk Heritage. One of the nasty rumours was that the H-550 was discontinued!! Yours is proof that is not the case. Can't wait to see it.

lb61906 Posted February 27, 2010 Posted February 27, 2010 Congrats on your H-550. I love mine. They are great guitars. JJ
SouthpawGuy Posted February 27, 2010 Posted February 27, 2010 Well that's one very nice big, fat and juicy lefty 550 ! Congrats.
RJLII Posted February 27, 2010 Posted February 27, 2010 Very nice. I really love mine too, but never seem to play it.
blueox Posted February 27, 2010 Posted February 27, 2010 That's a beautiful big box guitar. Since that was a custom order, did you ask for anything different in the realm of pickups, etc. other than making it a lefty? Also, for the rest of us contemplating a custom order, I know one has to go through a dealer, but evidentally you can pick up the custom order right at the factory?
FredZepp Posted February 27, 2010 Posted February 27, 2010 Wow , that one is really sweet... Great looking top/finish.... seems like it should be a catalog photo guitar. Congrats
Kuz Posted February 27, 2010 Posted February 27, 2010 Great looking guitar, but umh.... ah.... I hope you noticed they built in backwards!
Gitfiddler Posted February 27, 2010 Posted February 27, 2010 Great looking 550. Did you order 'choice woods' upgrade? Looks like it. Wow!

They are not putting the H- tale piece on most model guitars anymore because of vendor issues. But at my request Marvin Lamb(owner of heritage) went out of his way to find a tale piece and tne most beautiful wood upgrade for me. Those guys at Heritage are great....

I had an issue with the H tailpiece on a golden eagle. It rattled and Heritage had to put a new one on. When I received it the top had a one inch crack. Heritage built me 2 other golden eagles. They did me right!! From what I hear Heritage had issues with their H tailpieces. I love my ebony tailpiece on my thin body Golden Eagle. Allan

If you have noticed most of Heritage guitars that require a tail piece don't have the famous H- tail piece. Until Heritage finds a vender that can make the H-tail peice most of the guitars being made will have a non brand tail piece replacement.
