bluessbreaker Posted February 27, 2010 Posted February 27, 2010 Hi there. I would like to know something more about the labels that Heritage glues inside the 535 guitars. 3 different years (96, 05 and 07) and 3 different labels i had found (i mean the label where the serial number is located, inside the f-hole). The ´96 label was rectangular, the 2005 was like and old pergamine and the 2007 is oval and reads Heritage custom shop guitars. Any info would be greatly apreciated. Sorry for my bad english and greetings from Spain. Placido

Sorry for my bad english and greetings from Spain. Placido Different years, different labels. Thats all. Probably what was available. We've never really figured out when they use the Custom Shop label. I've custom ordered two guitars. One has the oval Custom Shop label; the other does not. Just another mystery from our boys at the 'zoo, I'd say.
FredZepp Posted February 27, 2010 Posted February 27, 2010 I hope to get a better pic of this one day... but here's a 1999 Centurion label...
big bob Posted February 27, 2010 Posted February 27, 2010 the oval custom shop label are put on the guitars that are built overseas in Korea and then imported here for final assembly.. Just pulling your chain.
Dick Seacup Posted February 27, 2010 Posted February 27, 2010 Just pulling your chain. You got me; I thought you were talking about Gibbons!
pegleg32 Posted February 28, 2010 Posted February 28, 2010 Dang Lance, I was almost going to pull out my Heritages to check the label before I got to the bottom of your post, whew!!
Kap Posted October 29, 2013 Posted October 29, 2013 Recently saw a H-150 with an oval label, I have never seen one like this. Its from a 1995, serial number L32705. Anyone know about these?
HANGAR18 Posted October 29, 2013 Posted October 29, 2013 This is a photo of said label Since this is a full Poplar body which usually costs a little less than a regular H150, perhaps the answer is as simple as Heritage deciding to use a lesser expensive sticker to go under the pot cover.
tulk1 Posted October 29, 2013 Posted October 29, 2013 This is a photo of said label No big mystery. They've changed labels throughout the years, same as they've changed hardware or pickups or pots. I even had a Prospect without a label.
yoslate Posted October 29, 2013 Posted October 29, 2013 You got me; I thought you were talking about Gibbons! Billy was assembled in Tejas....
Gitfiddler Posted October 29, 2013 Posted October 29, 2013 I also bet the label has more to do with what they have at the time. They also have a scroll looking label that the boys all sign on certain really special gits.
DavesNotHere Posted October 30, 2013 Posted October 30, 2013 This was in my 2005 H-150 1986 STAT (and several others) 1988 Parsons Street (and several others) 2013 H-357
Kap Posted October 30, 2013 Posted October 30, 2013 I know labels don't have anything to do with the sound from the guitar ....but....the one I put up seems to be the plainest I have seen, I feel inadequate...... ....must have been a lean year or the wood used didn't warrant any thing more meaningful ?
High Flying Bird Posted October 30, 2013 Posted October 30, 2013 Dave, wasn't this one supposed to be a secret? If not I will call Marv tomorrow and get one for my 357.
Hfan Posted November 3, 2013 Posted November 3, 2013 This was in my 2005 H-150 1986 STAT (and several others) 1988 Parsons Street (and several others) 2013 H-357 I hate when that happens..move your stuff on photobucket and no more linkey.
