Which Pickups

Hi all,

I am about to take delivery of a 2002 H157, how will I know which pickups are poaded on it

1. Look at the company sticker on the back of the plastic control cavity

 

and if it isn't listed there

 

2. Unscrew the pickup rings, pull out the pickups and look on the bottom of them for the pickup identification.

If they have two screws on each side of the pickup, they are either Schaller or HRW pickups. Guitars with HRW pickups usually have a dot on the top of the pickup selector. If they have one screw on each side of the pickup, then they are probably some kind of seymour duncan pickups. Either 59s or maybe seth lovers. the only way to really tell is to pull the pickups off and look at the bottom.

 

of course if it was a custom order, they could be anything.
