Assumer Posted March 17, 2010 Posted March 17, 2010 Found a new one for a killer price. All you leftys should check out Adirondack guitars. Right handers also I guess. Never priced a righty. Nothing fancy but I just couldn't pass it up. Now the wait for delivery begins. http://adirondackguitar.com/lefty/heritage/h150calssic.htm
golferwave Posted March 17, 2010 Posted March 17, 2010 Congratulations! Glad you found such a beautiful H-150 and welcome back to a Charter member!
Assumer Posted March 17, 2010 Author Posted March 17, 2010 Thanks guys. I was looking at a darker burst that sold when I ran across this one. It was the right guitar at the right price. Now I have to face the wrath of the wife.
High Flying Bird Posted March 17, 2010 Posted March 17, 2010 Now I have to face the wrath of the wife. At PSP2 Steiner sold me a 535 and we both had to deal with Linda. Good looking guitar. I had one much like this. It was a tone machine.
FredZepp Posted March 17, 2010 Posted March 17, 2010 Verrry Nice ... I'd like to play it through that Supro..... I'm sure it's good to be back with a sweet 150.
tulk1 Posted March 17, 2010 Posted March 17, 2010 Charter Members are a bit rare. I think there are maybe 39 of them? Nice to see another one of you pop back in. And with such a nice new guitar! Coolio!
Assumer Posted March 17, 2010 Author Posted March 17, 2010 Wow, I was so excited to get the guitar I didn't even notice the amp. They carry some really nice stuff.
MatZen Posted March 18, 2010 Posted March 18, 2010 Very nice. Good to hear you have a Heritage back in the fold!
Gitfiddler Posted March 18, 2010 Posted March 18, 2010 Welcome back...and with a very vintage looking 150. Sweet! And by the way, you are never really out of 'the club' once you get your first Heritage...even if you part with it. The desire to replace it with one...or two more is much too powerful.
Assumer Posted March 20, 2010 Author Posted March 20, 2010 Yes, I haven't even received this one and I am looking at others.
Assumer Posted March 26, 2010 Author Posted March 26, 2010 So now that it is here, I love it. Plays great, sounds great. I do have a couple of questions. I read on some post that 2008 and on Heritage used better pots and wiring. Is this true? My serial number begins with an X and if I am correct it is a 2007. Is it worth upgrading these things? Next, this is the lightest LP type guitar I have played. Is this usual for Heritage? Seems like my last one was a bit heavier? I love the light weight but just curious.
Steiner Posted March 26, 2010 Posted March 26, 2010 Congratulations Assumer! They are hard to beat, aren't they? Pull the 3-way switch cavity cover on the back and see if it's hollow - it may be a light weight. Or, perhaps you're thinking that you're getting too much tone for the mass - welcome to the world of Heritage! I haven't read about electronics changes on this forum. Perhaps some of the others know of a permutation. Enjoy!
