Here's the pic. Sorry.

Remember that one well! Great color! Great flame! Seller's remorse blows!

I do believe that , that particular axe is this one of Mars_Hall 's fine instruments.... gallery_139_2_956714.jpg

It was at PSP II , in fact. :icon_thumright:

WOW!! That is gorgeous beyond words!! What kind of Pickups?

I had Schaller's in it when I sold it to Mars. Don't know what he has in it now? It's a cool special order I got on the bay. It's got an ebony board with dots. The neck is a little thick as well. Kinda weird? Great top though. I miss it.

I don't miss it ;P

Ha Ha!!! I'm glad you still have it. It's got some MOJO.

I like what you've done with it. What pup's did you put in it? I see you went back to the Schaller tail piece.

It has APH-1s in it and that is a Gibson TP-6 fine tuner tailpiece. I have a set of Seths I am thinking about installing, but I like the APH-1s pretty well so I'm not in a hurry.

Great looking guitar. I have a new rule. After selling a few guitars I wish I had not, unless I just do not like it, I keep it. You never know. At the least my kids will have them some day and can do what they want.

That certainly is one to miss. What are you going to get to replace it?

Another 150 of course:) I just have to be patient right now.

That one was custom w dots/ebony, I believe...

I had to check out what the difference is in the APH-1..... "Compared to the '59, the Alnico II Pro has a rounder sound with a spongier bass response. " Hmmm. Much different?

I think there is a lot of difference, but that is me. I would say the APH has a more pronounced upper range clarity and a 59 has more lower end growl.
