Question. How much would you expect to pay for a 1989 or 1990 H576 in good condition?

I got a gem of a 576 eight years ago for $1500. I didn't steal it, but that guitar has more than proved its value over the last eight years! Very, very cool instrument, which will do just about anything. One went for $1500 just earlier this week in either "For Sale," or on e-Bay.... There's another one up now for $1995, I think. No way!

I paid $1300 for mine several years ago. With the Duncan pickups I installed, it ended up costing me about $1550. But that was well before they had been discontinued.

 

My only complaint about the 576 is where the neck meets the body and the shallowness of the cutaway: this makes access to the upper register a little more effort than it might otherwise be (the access is better on the 575). That's a small thing though--these are superb guitars!
