What strings are stock on Heritage 137?

The Heritages that I have bought new all came with 11's

On a 137? That is much larger than I would have expected. I would have figured the standard 9's and maybe, at largest, 10's.

I know likely ghs, but are they 9s, 10s or 11s? Anyone know?

All Heritage solid bodies and semi-hollows are strung with GHS 10-46's They don't string any guitars with 9-42's

Orangepicker, I know you know your stuff, and know Heritage a lot better than I do, so I mean no disrespect, but when I bought my matched set 535/150, they came with 11's installed. Practically made my fingers bleed before I got them changed. The 137 I got from Wolf's and then returned may have had 10's, I'm not sure on that one.

Ya know, I wondered about that when I got my Custom Prospect. It was very stiff. Took it up to my local MnP (who are now Heritage dealers) and they all thought they were 11's. I've since put some DR 10's on it, and it plays a lot easier. Altho' those strings have a very loose feel to start out. But still ... I wonder if they aren't using some 11's every now and then?

No offence taken. Maybe they ran out of 10's and substituted 11's.
