bigtoedave Posted April 7, 2010 Posted April 7, 2010 Hello Heritage Officionados, Not much of a gear-head myself, but have enjoyed my '98 Prospect "Standard" over the past 10 years. Trying to get an idea what its worth, recently saw a Prospect "Classic" sold on ebay . I'm wondering what is the diiference between the "standard' and the "classic." Yours, Dave

Trying to get an idea what its worth, recently saw a Prospect "Classic" sold on ebay . I'm wondering what is the diiference between the "standard' and the "classic." Yours, Dave Dave, just how big are your toes, anyway? I mean, thats the first order of business. 2nd order is a pic of your Standard. As for the Standard v Classic .... not sure we ever reached a consensus on that. Other than the classic seemed to have pickups other than stock Schallers. And even the pics on the Heritage website are showing single screw pickups for the Prospect (double screws for Schallers). So ... there. Absolutely no help at all.
tulk1 Posted April 7, 2010 Posted April 7, 2010 dot inlays v trap inlays The classic on ebay that Dave is referencing has dots.
chico Posted April 7, 2010 Posted April 7, 2010 The classic on ebay that Dave is referencing has dots. I should've looked before posting, or stuck a "?" at the end of the line.. SD59s are probably it, like you pointed out. although with Heritage, could be custom built with any combo of items that would make it classic
