Hello!

I am a newbe here. I am looking at a 2008 150CM Gold Top with Lollar P-90's. I have tried the seach function and did not find an answer. On the net there is some information that suggests some of the H150's are weight relieved. What are the years that they have done this (if it is true) and is there a way to tell?

I believe that, and someone may want to correct me here, it would have the LW designation. Like H150LW. If all yours ha is the CM, then I would suspect it isn't weight relieved.

According to my specs, I have a typical CM150 but it sure feels weight relieved. The lightest LP style guitar I have picked up.

The Millenium series have semi hollow construction, guess they would be weight relieved on steriods...LOL

Look at the 140's , they are not relieved but alot lighter, and thinner.

150P model has a poplar body, made 10+ YEARS AGO. These should be lighter.

Consider a Heritage H155. I love mine.

Barry is correct. The LW designation stands for Light Weight.

If it doesn't have LW next to the 150 then it is NOT weight relieved (that's OK because they left the TONE in it then).

Not a big fan of wt relieved guitars.....

My H140 (1986) is 8,8 lbs and the H150 (P90, 2006) is 9,0 lbs.

That is not a big difference, and I'm not shure why.

I have no idea if my H150 is weight relieved or not.

Honestly I had expected a bigger difference.

Both guitars heve great sound with incredible sustain.
