Which type TonePros Bridge and stringend for my '88 H535?

I own a 535 from '88...

 

I don't like the looks of the Shaller roller bridge and the Ugly stringand.

Also the Stringend gives some times a problem. If I've a broken string, the BallEnd goes between the strange (and not usefull) mechanism.

Is looks like a Shaller finetuner, without finetuners... ;-)

 

I think a TonePros is a (very) good Alternative... but whith one???

What do you recomanded. A Nickel version (I think, because the Grover tuners are also) or the Chrome version?

 

Can there be a problem whith the thread? or is this al standard?

In my experience nickel will be duller and wear faster, chrome is more highly polished and will stay that way for longer. I prefer chrome myself as I seem to "kill" nickel very quickly indeed, and it tarnishes very quickly. Some prefer the aged or worn effect though.

Tailpiece studs on my H150 are 5/16-24

Get Chrome

As I recall, I got the TP-6C bridge where C = chrome
