Here is a set Brent sold in Feb for $150... Brents HRW SALE... feb 2010

 

(of course , Brent always does really good prices ) it took a little over an hour to sell them at that...

I sold a nearly new set, in darned near perfect condition for $180.

$150 - $250 per set is what I've seen them go for over the years here at the HOC.

 

Heritage used to offer to 'retrofit' them if you shipped your guitar back to the factory. Their price was around $275+ as I recall. Not a good deal after shipping is included in my opinion. Don't know if they still offer that as an option.

Yeah, I figured that was the going rate for them used. A bit too rich for me at this point.

 

I am still really considering the PAF type I have installed in the Ibanez V that were pulled from an old LP. I REALLY like their clean sound but not so much the high gain sound. Even the clean, I just know in a hollow, it would sound GREAT.

 

I just wanna think on it a bit before I cannibalize a guitar for the pickups. Not that it would matter too much to me. I don't really play it much.
