Shmockiebaby Posted April 13, 2010 Posted April 13, 2010 Greetings! New member looking for info. I have always wanted a Heritage, and I finally sold my 1978 ES-175 and bought a 1999 H-575 (natural). It hasn't even arrived yet, but I am really looking forward to it. I have a question: are all H-575 models made with a solid (carved) maple top and back? Everything on the Heritage website looks like this is correct, and every dealer out there says they are. But have they always been built that way? Thanks in advance to everyone for your answers!
Thundersteel Posted April 13, 2010 Posted April 13, 2010 Welcome to the HOC! And, yes, the H575s are made from solid wood as standard.
Jazzpunk Posted April 14, 2010 Posted April 14, 2010 There is at least one laminate top 575 out there that I am aware of. It was up for auction a year or so ago and was confirmed to be a special order 'one off'.
