FredZepp Posted April 15, 2010 Posted April 15, 2010 You got a great deal on that new one , I believe. It is sharp.!!!! And it's good to see that beauty with the mini buckers again... love that one. Nice collection of CSB 150's you've started... now... what will be the next one ...?
Assumer Posted April 15, 2010 Posted April 15, 2010 Didn't realize Heritage made a guitar with a mini humbucker. Cool!
tulk1 Posted April 15, 2010 Posted April 15, 2010 Didn't realize Heritage made a guitar with a mini humbucker. Cool! It was a Graham Zebedee (sp?) design. Not sure if they are in regular production yet. Might still be an option you have to order thru Wolfe Guitars. I got to play the final prototype when I was down there last Spring. Very nice guitar, for sure. Guess there were 4 or 5 proto's before they settled on the final specs. You know, I didn't even think to ask what was different about each proto; guess I should have. Pots, caps, pup placement? Not sure. But without a doubt a very cool and different model. Someone here has one ... name escapes me. Obviously Thin Lizzy has one. Pretty sure there's another floating around. edit: spelling, grammar, etc.
Gitfiddler Posted April 15, 2010 Posted April 15, 2010 Cool! Turn em upside down and they look like sisters.
slider313 Posted April 15, 2010 Posted April 15, 2010 Why .......you have some pair of...........................cherrybursts!!
smurph1 Posted April 15, 2010 Posted April 15, 2010 Nice pair! One more for the trifecta? He said "Nice Pair" LOL
mark555 Posted April 15, 2010 Posted April 15, 2010 really nice, and like others have said, I love the mini humbuckers, really takes me back to the seventies... I have been practicing my thin lizzy licks earlier on tonight on my own new acquisition.... Really nice guitar, and once again a happy conclusion to a deal between two forumites..
RhoadsScholar Posted April 21, 2010 Posted April 21, 2010 Thanks for buying it local Thin Lizzy. I really wanted someone to see all the bumps, bruises, and touch ups I did. I have kept this guitar as my functional workhorse Bar Guitar playing around detroit last summer. In person I was able to show everything. Sold it for a quick price as I wanted to jump on a 575 locally that is absolutely stunning (it cost more than I got for the 150, but the 150 gave me a lot of good times and I didn't want to pass up the 575). This 150 has a great weight and has nice flame. After Thin Lizzy picked it up, I had enough cash for the 575 . I still have to post some pics (too busy playing it). I am glad someone from this forum picked up this guitar.... Thin Lizzy RAWKS as well.... Finally got my 335 style guitar to add to the heritage collection. PICS coming soon. Don't want to hijack this thread as those matching pair of clownbursts ar pretty special ... take care
