skydog Posted April 22, 2010 Posted April 22, 2010 Is every H-555 the same from the factory w/ regards to a "block"? Can a bigsby be added to a non-bigsby guitar w/o modification to the innards?

Can a bigsby be added to a non-bigsby guitar w/o modification to the innards? I don't think the innards are the problem but it's the surface of the guitar. A few months ago Brent found an adapter plate that used the preexisting holes on top of the guitar so the guitar could be kept in original condition if you took the bigsby off.

[/q Vibromate is the brand lets you attach a bigsby b5 to the existing stop tail holes.
lpdeluxe Posted April 26, 2010 Posted April 26, 2010 I have an SG with a B5 attached via a Vibramate http://www.vibramate.com/index.html. It makes for an invisible mount on a solid body, but the B5 doesn't look right to my eye for the 335 style (sorry, I have a Gibson, not the equivalent Heritage). Maybe they'll market one that attaches to the 535/335 and uses a B7 like the LP in the picture on the web site.
