And yet once again we see the onset of Heritageitis. No cure; no campaign to find a cure neither!! A most excellent guitar. Good job, Greg.

Is the color of this H550 considered an Antique Sunburst?

Yes, the finish is "Antique Sunburst". I had to look it up because the tag said "ASB".

.............. and yes I think my acuisition addiction is in full swing! There is no stopping now.

Very very nice indeed, your GAS floweth over !

I can't leave this one alone... Thanks for the opening.

My GAS certainly doesn't flow anywhere.. It's always more of a sudden release of pressure, after a long period of experiencing uncomfortable urges. The wife always shows distaste at a result, and it usually follows with a "can't you control yourself", or "I think I'm going to make you do that somewhere else". But somehow it's sooo satisfying, and I always feel so much better right afterwards.

So this particular guitar looks like a very nice snag.. I'm sure it will leave you feeling releeved for weeks to come. Just be warned.. After that, the urge returns, and the pressure starts to build, and the whole cycle starts all over again. I would say, seek therapy, but that doesn't necessarily work. Just look at Brent! But then in the same vein look at Brent again and see the beauty of embracing one's nature.

What year is the guitar?

This H 550 is a 2008. I attenuated it and took some of the relief out of the neck last night. I switched strings from what I think were 10's to 11's the day before. It's almost at the point of alchemy now.

There has been a lot of talk about gas and acquistion. I've had a lot of both in my life, so from this point on, I'm going to try to avoid embarassing myself in public or bring home anymore new guitars.

I had that guitar on hold for my brother-in-law (he passed on it) ......he is going to kick himself when he sees the pictures of it!

These Heritage Guitars are very addictive.
