TalismanRich Posted May 6, 2010 Posted May 6, 2010 Obviously one of the lower grade solvents. Beware the higher grade ones.
Hfan Posted May 6, 2010 Posted May 6, 2010 I've searched alot of old threads on the care and cleaning subject. Fret Doctor has been well spoken of. I am about to order Virtuosso for the nitro and fret doctor for the fret board. I had bought some of the stuff from Stew mac but tossed it out last summer after much bad feedback here. I haven't cleaned any of my guitars in years other than a soft cloth wipe down after use. Back in the day I used cheap furniture polish which obviously is NG.

OK, allow me to throw in a plug for a cleaner product- it's called... (don't laugh) Power Chord really works well cleaning the gunk off bodies, and does no harm. comes in a little spray bottle. spray some on cleaning rag and wipe gently.
